About Louis

I started my career as an auto mechanic in Los Angeles, California, armed with two years of training from L.A. Trade Technical College and a whole lot of confidence. To sharpen my skills, I attended the GM Training Center at the Buick School and spent over two years working at a local Buick dealership. But I wasn’t just meant to turn wrenches—I had bigger ambitions.

I took the entrepreneurial leap and ran my own service station for three years before shifting gears to something even bigger: owning and operating an auto parts remanufacturing business called Rotex. My wife and I started with just three employees, but over time, we grew our team to nearly 90 strong. For 38 years, we rebuilt starters, alternators, and generators—essentially breathing new life into cars just as we did our business. When the time was right, we sold the company and set our sights on a new adventure.

That adventure? Real estate. I joined Keller Williams Beach Cities in Hermosa Beach, CA, selling both residential and commercial properties for about three years. But life had other plans. In 2015, my wife and I packed up and moved to Chattanooga, TN, to be closer to our son and his growing family. With two beautiful granddaughters already here and a grandson on the way (due November 2021), it was an easy decision.

Now, I’ve teamed up with my son at ReMax Properties, where I work as an Affiliate Broker, primarily helping buyers find their perfect home. So far, I’m enjoying this next chapter—after all, real estate, much like auto repair, is about finding the right fit and making things run smoothly!
